Pulse for Nurses (“we”, “us”) operates pulsefornurses.com, a free nursing-education portal based in Dhaka, Bangladesh. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the site, you agree to this policy.
Information we collect
Account information. You can create an account either with an email address and password, or by signing in with Google. If you use Google Sign-In, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from your Google Account. We never receive your Google password, and we do not access your Gmail, Google Drive, contacts, or any other Google data.
Learning activity. If you use signed-in features, we store activity connected to your account: practice-test attempts, scores, saved study progress, and documents you create with our tools (for example, the CV Builder).
Usage data. Like most websites, we collect basic analytics through Google Analytics and Cloudflare: pages visited, approximate location by country or city, and device and browser type. These services use cookies or similar technologies. This data is aggregated and does not identify you personally to us.
How we use your information
- To create and secure your account and let you sign in.
- To save your study progress, test results, and created documents so you can return to them on any device.
- To understand how the site is used, so we can improve our content and tools.
- To respond when you contact us for support.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
Pulse for Nurses’ use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
How your information is stored and shared
Account data is stored with Supabase, our database and authentication provider, and is encrypted in transit. We share information only with the service providers that make the site work: Supabase (accounts and data), Google (sign-in and analytics), and Cloudflare (site delivery and security). Each processes data on our behalf under its own privacy terms. We may also disclose information if required by law.
Data retention and deletion
We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. You can request a copy of your data, or ask us to delete your account and its data, at any time by emailing the address below; we act on verified requests within 30 days. You can also revoke our access to your Google Account at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies for sign-in sessions and analytics. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though blocking them may prevent sign-in from working.
Children
The site is intended for nursing students and professionals and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes, we will update this page and revise the effective date above.
